BODE Rainbow Chenille Shirt

In 2021 Emily Bode celebrated five years since the launch (“in a tiny lower Manhattan apartment”) of her namesake brand, which quickly became one of the biggest and most talked-about fashion new entries that have come out of New York as of late.

This unisex button-up shirt, inspired by 1960s American poolside upholstery and an excellent example of the Bode ethos, was released in the summer of 2020—and, as is the case for most Bode pieces, it was sold-out in days. It’s woven from substantial cotton striped with chenille lines in rainbow hues, and features an embroidered moniker at the hem.
