ENGINEERED GARMENTS Manhattanism T-Shirt
$70.00
Engineered Garments is the brand that Japanese designer Daiki Suzuki founded in the late 90s, when he moved to New York from Japan, to open the American outpost of Tokyo-based store Nepenthes—which is to this day located in the Garment District, on 38th street.
This SS16 gray tee is constructed from a soft cotton jersey while the print is a reference to the Rem Koolhaas-coined term “Manhattanism,” meant to capture Manhattan’s once unique, now globally emulated architecture & urban design style.
