Ghetto Gastro is a New York-based collective of chefs and food enthusiasts with deep ties to the Bronx. In June of 2020, after the murder of George Floyd and the events that followed, the culinary collective released the limited-edition “Food Is a Weapon” t-shirt, to support meaningful organization in America and with all profits being donated to the organizations Color Of Change, Rethink, and Summaeverythang Community Center.

This t-shirt, with its bold graphic and its bolder message, is a piece of New York and its strongest forces and an artifact of the month that was June 2020 for the city and for America.

100% of the proceeds from the sale of this piece will be donated to Ghetto Gastro and Rethink NYC.
