ILLESTEVA Leonard Sunglasses

Illesteva sounds like an Italian name but, while they do get their sunglasses manufactured in Italy and France, it’s actually an independent New York-based brand, with all glasses designed in their studio in SoHo.

This tortoise pair of their “Leonard” style (named after the TriBeCa street) was semi-destroyed when we found it in a member’s pile during the References pilot but we worked with a local eyewear store in Flatiron to get it repaired and give it new life. It still has minor scratches on the two lenses & is priced accordingly.
