ST. GILLIAN Vintage Dress

$50.00

St. Gillian is a fashion brand of the New York past, now found only in thrift stores—and while not a lot of info is available about them online, based on a New York Times article from 1988, it looks like the woman who started it is none other than Kay Unger, a notable figure of New York fashion herself and the designer who famously discovered Kerby Jean-Raymond, the founder of Pyer Moss, hiring & mentoring him when he was just 14 years old.

This vintage dress, navy with white silk chiffon polka dot, features a wrap front notched lapel and hip box pleats. We got out our hands on it when a References member decided to part with it, and we’ve since had it professionally cleaned.
